Welcome to the Town of Ulster Website!
For those who are not familiar with our community, we are located off of Exit 19 on the NYS Thruway, 90 miles north of New York City and 60 miles south of Albany. The Town of Ulster is in the heart of the Hudson Valley within easy reach of the Catskill Mountains and is known as the "Business Hub" of Ulster County. We are an active, growing community and enjoy our beautiful location with easy access to great skiing, fishing, boating, hiking, theatre, music, historical sites, shopping, fall colors, summer festivals, county fairs and much, much more.

The Town of Ulster Town Clerk's Office is now accepting sealed bids for various Highway Equipment until Friday, July 17th at 2:00pm. See "Documents" below to view Specs for the equipment to be purchased.
All Town Offices will be CLOSED on Friday, July 3rd, in observance of Independence Day. The Town Transfer Station will be OPEN as usual on Friday, July 3rd, and will be CLOSED Saturday, the 4th of July. Have a SAFE and HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!
