Brigham Lane Water Extension Project

The Town of Ulster is requesting proposals for Administrative Services, Engineering Services and Legal Services for a New York State Homes and Community Renewal funded Small Cities CDBG project #1159PW62-14, the Brigham Lane Water Extension Project. Responses to this request will be accepted until 3:30 PM, February 11, 2015 at the Town of Ulster Town Clerk's Office, 1 Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, New York.

Ulster Town Clerk Announces Hours for Tax Collection
January 31, 2015
The Town of Ulster Town Clerk will be open for the collection of the 2015 taxes until June 1, 2015 at the Ulster Town Hall. Taxes paid on or before January 31, 2015 may be paid without charge or interest. Collection hours are as follows:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, except holidays
- Saturday, 9:00 AM - noon on January 10,17,24 and 31st

Town of Ulster Christmas Tree Recycling Program
January 30, 2015
The Town of Ulster Highway Department will start the Christmas Tree Recycling Program on Monday, January 5th and will continue until Friday, January 30th. Trees should be placed at the curb, not in the roadway, free of all decorations, bags and stands. Trees will be recycled and used for future Highway projects.
Christmas Trees may also be brought to the Town Transfer Station for recycling. NO Permit is required for Christmas trees.

Special Election: Town of Ulster Fire District #5
January 27, 2015
The Town of Ulster Fire District #5 will have a Special Election on Tuesday, January 27th for the adoption or rejection of an addition to the existing firehouse. The polls will be open from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ulster Fire District #5 Firehouse, located at 830 Ulster Avenue, Kingston, New York. All duly registered residents of the Town of Ulster Fire District #5 are eligible to vote.
