The Town of Ulster Historian Committee invites you to join them in their mission to identify and preserve the history of the Town.

Upon the death of Bruce Burgher, Town Historian from 1929 to 2002, the Historian Committee was formed to continue his important work.  The publication of his manuscript, "The History of the Town of Ulster - The First 100 Years", has been a Committee focus.  To that end, we have raised awareness and funds by publishing a cook book comprised of the favorite recipes of Town residents, developing a series of postcards depicting local historic sites and hosting a Historic House Tour.

We typically meet at the Town Hall on the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 7:00 pm.
