The Town of Ulster Highway Department has the responsibility of maintaining 73 miles of Town roads as well as the job of keeping those roads accessible for vehicular traffic every day, in all kinds of weather.

The Highway Department is open:

Winter Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm

Summer Hours(to begin May 26th): Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Emergency In case of emergency: If you are unable to contact the Highway Department directly to report a road hazard or dangerous condition you should call the Town of Ulster Police Department at 845-382-1111.
