Here in the Town of Ulster there are areas along the Esopus Creek that have experienced flood issues.  As a result of these flood events a Reconnaissance Study of the Esopus and Plattekill Creeks has been done.  The purpose of the study is to determine if there is a Federal interest in participating in a cost shared feasibility phase study and to find a non-Federal partner to sponsor that study.  Available online here is a copy of the DRAFT Reconnaissance Study for viewing.
