Town of Ulster Assessor Jim Maloney would like to remind all Volunteer Firefighters and Ambulance Workers that they can receive EITHER the NY State Tax Credit for Volunteers(IT-245) OR the Real Property Tax Exemption(RP-466h). Assessor Maloney advises that the NY State Tax Credit is the BEST choice. REMEMBER, you can not receive both! All forms are available here online.
