The Town of Ulster Town Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Ulster Town Hall beginning at 7:15pm. * * * NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Ulster Town Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Ulster Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, New York. The hearing will begin at 7:15 PM on a proposed local law providing for an override of the limit on the amount of real property taxes that may be levied by the Town of Ulster pursuant to General Municipal Law § 3-c, and to allow the Town of Ulster to adopt a budget for the fiscal year 2012 that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the "tax levy limit" as defined by General Municipal Law § 3-c.
Copies of the proposed local laws are available for viewing at the Ulster Town Clerk's Office during normal business hours and on the town website. All interested parties will be heard at the said public hearing, or by written statements received prior to the close of the hearing.
